Symposium

The St. Johns River Water Management District held a technical symposium Sept. 23–24, 2009, for the District’s scientists and its outside experts to discuss the District’s investigation of potential effects of withdrawing water from the St. Johns River.

The symposium was an opportunity for the technical working groups that are conducting the St. Johns River Water Supply Impact Study to address interrelated aspects of the study, present technical information and discuss scientific issues.

Public comment was received at the end of each day’s proceedings and by mail following the event.
