Indigo Springs
Location
Indigo Springs is located in Rice Creek Swamp, about 4.5 miles west of the Palatka airport. Four areas of upwelling waters from the Floridan aquifer have been located in the floodplain of Rice Creek Swamp; more are thought to exist.

Description
The spring waters have a sulfur odor, and sulfur bacteria are observed in the areas of upwelling, but no vents or boils have been observed due to heavy mats of leaves.
