Once identified the properties were precision input using CAD software with the metes and bounds measurements obtained from the deed descriptions. The polygons were checked for any closure error. Once the polygons were final, they were moved and rotated into the correct geographic cooridnate space using the USGS digital ortho quarter quads and the PLSS datasets. Further positional adjusts to the easement boundaries were made using lines of occupation and other visual indicators provided by the USGS digitial orthophotography. Aliquot easements were constructed from plss and orthophotography. Attribute information was obtained from the easement description was added to the database. The dataset was then converted to an ArcInfo coverage format.
